It has a sliding kind of wireless switch and you guessed it, I wiped the front of the PC and I must have slid the switch to the off position and I could not for the life of me understand why I couldn’t connect to the internet. Please do something for me though, and change your router’s wireless security to AES. I think the both of us are missing something obvious but I don’t know broaadcom it could be. It will probably help too.

There was a tiny button I had completely overlooked which when pressed took me right to the wireless connection. What type of security is your router set for? Is there a switch or button to turn on the card on the notebook? I did make the change to AES. I don’t know why things aren’t simple. My problem is that the adapter, Broadcom54g Maxperformance Do broaccom have any suggestions?

Then I figured the wireless card died. So yes, we both learned something from our experiences and that is what counts!

I am not terribly good with networking but I am not a complete newbie though I have been known to make newbie mistakes.
