It has a sliding kind of wireless switch and you guessed it, I wiped the front of the PC and I must have slid the switch to the off position and I could not for the life of me understand why I couldn’t connect to the internet. Restarted the modem and router. I currently have a wired connection to my router, but I can’t seem to get wireless set up.
If it is a dual band router 2. Click on the blue Change Advanced Settings on the lower left of the window.
Click on your wireless icon on the bottom right of your taskbar. I restarted the PC.
Click on the properties button underneath that preferred networks window. If no, is your router set on mixed mode or N only? Unfortunately, the adapter is still shown as unconnected.
Is the checkmark there to connect even if this network is not broadcasting? Please do something for me though, and change your router’s wireless security to AES. I think the both of us are missing something obvious but I don’t know broaadcom it could be. It will probably help too.

There was a tiny button I had completely overlooked which when pressed took me right to the wireless connection. What type of security is your router set for? Is there a switch or button to turn on the card on the notebook? I did make the change to AES. I don’t know why things aren’t simple. My problem is that the adapter, Broadcom54g Maxperformance Do broaccom have any suggestions?
